OBSERVATION OF THE MORPHOLOGY OF VA MYCORRHIZAE OF PEAR TREES

The morphology of the VA mycorrhizas of mature pear trees underfield conditions was observed.The results showed that the roots of 5tested varieties established the VA mycorrhizal structure.Typical vesiculesand arbuscules were found in the cortex ceils of the roots.The diameterof internal and external hypha was 3.6~8.3 μm.The vesicules were mainlyshaped in ellipse and globule,about 13×87 μm in large.Ci Li and Huangxian Changba(HC)had more vesicules than that of other varieties,1.1and 1.3/mm root respectively.The percentage of the infection and thearbuscules in HC were 17.5% and 2.80% respectiely,points of the hyphaconnected with the roots were 0.27/mm root,more than that of the fourother varieties.The feature of morphology and structure composition ofmycorrhizas was varied with the types of roots and layers of the soil
