Synchronous——Asynchronous Relation of “Resource—Scale—Income” and Path Transfer——A Comparative Study on the Tourism Development in 31 Provinces and Municipalities

LI Lian-pu 1,2,CAO Ming-ming1,YANG Xin-jun1(1.Department of Urban and Resource Science, North-west University, Xi'an 710069,China; 2.Department of Geography, Dezhou University, Dezhou 253015,China)
Asynchronous phenomenon exists in the development of regional tourism. There is disequilibrium in terms of tourism resources, tourist scale and economic benefit. Based on the data about the abundance of tourism resources, domestic tourist arrivals and revenues from tourism, 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions are analyzed comparatively. The result shows that the development of regional tourism, in accordance with “S-I combination relation" can be divided into strong synchronous area, weak synchronous area, excellent asynchronous area and poor asynchronous area. Eight sub-types can be found in accordance with “R-S-I combination relation". The relations of indexes that weigh the regional development are complex and multi-type characteristics occur. There exist huge regional gaps. The paper analyzes the features of different kinds of types and points out the transfer path and ways to achieve so as to provide theoretical basis for the development of regional tourism.
