Treatment for axillary-subclavian vein thrombosis by ultrasound thrombolysis

Objective To evaluation the clinical value of Ultrasound Thrombolysis in treating Axillary-subclavian vein thrombosis.Methods 11 patients who suffered Axillary-subclavian vein thrombosis were treated by Ultrasound Thrombolysis,revascularization and recurrence was observed.Results The period of follow up ranged from 12 months to 30 months.Complete recanalization was 7 cases,stricture of vein was 5 cases,improved by Reoperation and angioplasty,vascular patency rate was 85.7%,Recurrence was two cases.Conclusions Ultrasound Thrombolysis can reduce the operation wound,lessen the complication,and achieve a comparatively satisfactory revascularization,especially fit for elderly patients.
