Construction of Road Design in Terrex Virtual Scence

The construction of the existing road in the virtual scene is relatively easy,due to the terrain data has already contained the information of the road,and the only thing is to add ribbon elements in the existing terrain and paste road texture.However,the elevation of the design of the road does not include in the DEM data,so to build a road in accordance with the above method is obviously not feasible.In this paper,the construction outside the scope is extracted from the existing DEM data point,and the cross-section contour points of the road are increased to generate a new DEM files,and then build the road.To biuld the design of road model in the design of roads built in the virtual scene according to this idea is closer to the reality of the situation.
