Objective: To study the effects of L-tetrahydropalmatine,the Dopamine D 2 antagonist,on low prolactin level model induced by Apomorphine of lactational rats.Method: Compared the low prolactin level model established by Apomorphine 2.5mg·kg -1·d -1 s.c.with model by 5.0mg·kg -1·d -1s.c..Study the influence of L-tetrahydropalmatine on milk-secretion by detecting serum prolactin level of lactational rats and weight gain in sulking rats. Results: Apomorphine 5.0mg·kg -1·d -1 s.c.remarkably decreased the prolactin level of lactational rats and made rats in sulking gain weight.L-tetrahydropalmatine 60mg·kg -1·d -1 s.c.remarkably improved prolactin level and gained weight. The effects of L-tetrahydropalmatine 30mg·kg -1·d -1 s.c.were not remarkable. Conclusions: Apomorphine 5.0mg·kg -1·d -1 s.c.could establish low prolactin level model.L-tetrahydropalmatine might be Dopamine D 2 receptor antagonist.
