Dyeing process of natural plant flos sophorae buds dyes on wool fabrics

Lü Li-hua,WU Jian,Ye Fang(School of Textile and Light Industry,Dalian Polytechnic University,Dalian 116034,China)
The primarily chemic components of flos sophorae buds dyes were gained by infrared spectral analysis in this paper. The process of extraction of flos sophorae buds dyes was studied and the optimum conditions(temperature 90 ℃,dye concentration 200 g/L,time 30min)of colourant extraction were decided by orthogonal experiments and single factor analysis. Then, the extraction liquor was used to dye wool fabrics, and the optimum conditions of dyeing(extraction concentration 100 mL/L,temperature 80 ℃,pH value 4,liquor ratio 1∶40,dyeing time 45min)were decided by orthogonal experiments and single factor analysis. The dry and wet rubbing fastness, dry cleaning and soaping fastness of the dyeing samples were measured. The results indicated that the fastness properties were good and were improved a lot by mordant dyeing.
