Design and improvement of high-pressure torsion forming die for cone-shaped parts

The realization of conical parts processed by high-pressure torsion(HPT) expands the scope of its application.Based on the dies in the laboratory the dies of conical parts processed by HPT are designed and improved later.Experiments show that the copper conical part shaped on the improved dies has better quality with density of 96%.The average grain size in mouth part of the conical part is refined about 66% by HPT,which is remarkable.
