Experimental Study on Influence of Particle Size on Mechanical Properties and Permeability of Briquette Coal Containing Gas

We take three kinds of different size briquette specimen from No.1 seam of Yushe Coal Mine in Guizhou as study object,and carry out uniaxial compression and triaxial seepage tests based on MTS815 rock mechanics experimental system and independent triaxial seepage device.It shows that uniaxial compressive strength of briquette coal containing gas changing with particle size changing is a inverse correlation.Damage resistance of briquette coal containing gas decreases with particle size increasing;elastic modulus of briquette coal containing gas changing with particle size is also a inverse correlation;if the effective stress is constant,the permeability of three kinds of different size briquette coal containing gas decreases with the increasing of temperature.If the temperature is constant,the permeability of three kinds of different size briquette coal containing gas decreases with the increasing of effective stress;if the temperature and effective stress is constant,the permeability of 300 μm to 450 μm briquette coal containing gas is the highest.The permeability of the same particle size briquette coal containing gas decreases with the increasing of effective stress.
