Improved Design of Rib Arrangement of Coal Mine Refuge Chamber

To obtain a more scientific and reasonable form for rib arrangement to ensure the strength of coal mine rescue chamber, by using the finite element software ANSYS Workbench and considering the loading features, the distribution law of the stress and deformation of the shell is gained by simulation.Then an improved method named uneven arrangement which means middle intensive and both sides loose to reduce the stress and deformation is proposed specially. Compared to the even arrangement, the improved method is proved better.
