Application and Discussion on Emergency Refuge System in Underground Mine

The paper had an analysis on the necessity and the urgency of the emergency refuge system in the underground mine in construction and the limitations of the available emergency refuge methods,and the introduction on the composition of the emergency refuge system and the explanation on the function of each component.The paper held that each part of the rational organized and coordinated emergency refuge system could build a mine safety protection network to cover the whole mine area.The miners in the underground mine shall have the insulated self rescuer with them.In the mine roadway with the upwind velocity and the high slope affected to the escape speed,the density of the emergency refuge facilities should be increased and the escape distance shall be reduced.According to the scheduled escape route,a safety lifting from the mine shaft would be the first choice for the escape route.The scientific emergency plan should be established.The paper proposed to enhance the safety rescue training of the miners and others.
