Treatment of shrimp breeding waste water using photocatalytic-membrane filtration integrated reactor

To study the degradation of organic in shrimp breeding waste water using photocatalytic method,TiO2 powder and membrane filtration technology were integrated to treat the wastewater in this paper.Effects of membrane pore size and transmembrane pressure on microfiltration process and treating result with integrated reactor under different catalytic conditions were investigated.Result indicated that the permeation flux was 432 L/(m2· h) while TiO2 powder with mean particle size of 0.27 μm separated with α-Al2O3 membrane with pore size of 0.05 μm under transmembrane pressure of 0.05 MPa.With catalyst loading of 2 g TiO2,2 g TiO2+5ml H2O2(30%),and 2g TiO2+5 mL Fenton agent per liter wastewater,the corresponding CODCr removal rate were 15.67%,25.19% and 40.67% separately.
