Research of Integrated Method of Prevention and Control of Gas

SUN Ji-ping(State Key Laboratory of Coal Resource and Safety Mining of CUMT.(Beijing),Beijing 100083)  
The paper analyzed ratios between death toll in mine gas accidents and death toll in mine disasters,namely ratio is 69.5% between death toll in serious gas accidents in which death toll is over 10 and death toll in mine disasters and ratio is 65.4% between death toll in serious gas accidents in which death toll is over 100 and death toll in mine disasters in our country,and overseas ratio is 95.3% between death toll in serious gas accidents in which death toll is over 30 and death toll in mine disasters.It analyzed causes of gas accident,pointed out gas explosion accidents can be avoided,put forward integrated method of prevention and control of gas such as ventilation,monitoring and control,gas extraction(drainage),power supply,explosion-proof,dust-proof,fire-proof,blasting and act of rescue,and expounded effect of coal mine safety monitoring and control system in preventing gas.
