Comparison on Agronomic Traits of Barley from Different Regions and Improvement of Tibet Naked Barley

Agronomic traits of 56 accessions of barley from foreign countries,Institute of Crop Germplasm Resources and Tibet were investigated and analyzed.The results showed that barley cultivars grown in Tibet have the common characters of higher plant,wide leaves and prone to lodging.On the other hand,the cultivars from other regions have middle height and compact plant type,long and slender leaves,have strong tolerance to lodging.Some cultivars with special characters could be used for improving productivity of Tibet naked barley.
