Dynamic Model of Optimum Total Shoot Number(TSN) of Wheat under Different Yielding Levels

A simulation model of optimum total shoot number(TSN) dynamic for wheat under different yielding levels was developed on field experiment from 2000 to 2002 and data from references,employing idea of R/WCSODS(Rice / Wheat Cultivation-Simulation-Optimization Decision Making System),and further calibrated by adopting climate data of the normal year in Jinan and Nanjing areas and the corresponding cultivar parameters.The results showed that the correlation coefficient,standard error of absolute deviation,and average absolute deviation between the simulated and the observed of the optimum TSN dynamic were 0.9649~0.9690,154.2×104~155.2 ×104 stems·ha-1,and 154.2×104~155.2×104stems·ha-1 for Jimai 19 and Jimai 20 at 7 500 kg·ha-1 yield in Jinan area,respectively,0.9987,81.56(104·ha-1),and 1.38×104stems·ha-1) for Yangmai 5 at 6 000 kg·ha-1 yield in Nanjing area,respectively.The correlation coefficient were significant at 0.05 or 0.01 level.The paper took into account the factors of cultivar types,yielding levels,the optimum LAI and leaf area per shoot or ear,and so on,provided theoretical method for confirming the optimum TSN dynamic for wheat under different sites and yielding levels.
