Major Genes Plus Polygenes Mixed Inheritance Model for Starch Contents in Barley Seed

In order to understand the genetic model and regularities of starch contents in barley seed,191DH lines derived from Noso Nijo and Taixing 9425were used as materials in this study.The amylose content and amylopectin content in barley seed were analyized by the method dual wavelength spectrophotometry.And the amylose content,amylopectin content and total starch contents were computed.Then plant quantitive traits major genes plus polygenes mixed inheritance model were used to analyzed the genetic regularities of starch contents in barley seed.The main results showed that the amylose content in 2010and 2012,respectively accord with two linkage inhibition major genes model(B-2-9)and two linkage complementary major genes plus polygenic inheritance model(E-2-7),amylopectin content accord with two inhibition major gene plus polygenic inheritance model(E-1-9)and two linkage dominant epistatic major genes plus additive polygenic inheritance model(E-2-4),the ratio of amylopectin and amylose conform to the two inhibition major gene model(B-1-9)starch content accord with three major gene plus polygenic inheritance model(G-2)starch components of barley showed the existences of two or three major model.
