Construction of an AFLP-based Genetic Linkage Map of Tetraploid Hybrid Wheatgrass

In order to lay a foundation for further study on application of resistance,yield and other important traits of wheatgrass and marker-assisted selection,agenetic linkage map of hybrid tetraploid wheatgrass was constructed by using AFLP molecular marker technique,with 347F2 plants of hybrid tetraploid wheatgrass population and their parents as materials.In the present study,a highdensity genetic linkage map of tetraploid hybrid wheatgrass was first constructed,which contained 572 AFLP polymorphic loci distributed in 14 linkage groups,with the length of each linkage group ranged from 129.75 cM to 214.90 cM,and totally covered 2 266.59 cM with an average marker distance of4.13 cM.
