Research on Porosity of Non-caking Coal and Coking Coal and Inftuencing Factors Based on Micro CT Technology

In order to probe the porosity of non-caking coal and coking coal and study the influencing factors,large amount of coal samples from Anhui province were collected as research objects. TheμCT225k VFCB high-precision CT test analysis system was utilized for microscopic observation. Then the porosity of the above two coal types and the areas of all pores were achieved. Moreover, pore number′s change trend along with the increasing in the pore′ s areas was analyzed. The result showed that coal′ s porosity did not grow with the increasing in the coal rank. In addition, the maximum pore area of coking coal was smaller than that of non-caking coal. Therefore, the porosity of coking coal was smaller than that of non-caking coal obviously.
