Simulation and Experiment of Converging Nozzle in Gas-solid Injector

To determine the key factors influencing the injection performance,the particle trajectory model was utilized as a means to perform simulations for the number of extrusive particles,the number of remaining particles and particle trajectories in the gas-solid injector.The results show that the nozzle′ s inlet diameter of the gas-solid injector is the factor that affects the injection performance.Based on simulation and analysis,a gas-solid injector test-bed was produced,and five groups experiment were carried out for different nozzle′s inlet diameter.The experimental results indicate that the nozzle′s inlet diameter is the factor influencing the injection performance.When the nozzle′s inlet diameter at 20 mm,the average injection mass is maximum(3.37 m3/h),the injection performance of gas-solid injector is remarkable and the injection condition is stable.
