Strip Mining Technology with Paste Backfilling

In order to solve the high cost problems of the full goaf backfill and mining operations in the mine,to efficiently control the surface ground subsidence due to the underground mining and to ensure the coal mining safety above the pressurized water bearing stratum,a strip mining technology with paste backfill was provided.Based on the seam roof(key stratum),the floor ultra caving step distance affected by the pressurized water bearing and the strip coal pillar left theory as the principle,the backfill width and left width were designed for the strip paste backfill.The backfilled mass size,material mixing ratio,the surrounding rock lithology of the backfilled space,geological tectonics and backfill side stress and other factors affected to the stability of the strip backfill space were analyzed.The theory showed that the technology to build the seam floor-backfilled strip-overburden strata-main key strata structure system could be efficiently to control the surface ground subsidence and reduce the floor failure depth and could meet the requirements of the safety coal mining above the pressurized water bearing strata and under the building structures and reduce the backfill and mining costs maximally.
