Genetical type of proes in coal reservoir and its research significance

After a lot of observation with the use of scan electronic microscope, based upon maceral and characters of metamorphism and deform, the pores has been divided into four big types (primary pore, metamorphic pore, epigenetic pore, mineral pore) and ten little types in genesis. This study demonstrates that the coal pores are polygenous, polymorphous and all sizes, they only develop and connect within micra area. The pores can not migrate coalbed methane unless they connect with the fracture in coal reservoir. The research is of significance theoretically and practically.
