Development and application of digital control true 3-dimensional gradient loading model test system

In order to simulate the 3-D non-uniform geostress condition in deep underground caverns effectively,a digital control loading model test system was developed.The system is consists of the gradient non-uniform loading apparatus,the counterforce apparatus and the digital control system.The loading apparatus is set inside the counterforce apparatus and is used to exert loading.The digital control system adopts the human-computer interaction system to control loading and which realizes the automation and visualization.Through the system the real geostress condition can be simulated and based on which the non-linear deformation characteristic of the cavern can be revealed.Take the system into the 3D geomechanics model test of the underground gas storage cavern,the deformation laws of the cavern on the condition of changing of the gas injection and production were got,the low air pressure and long time are disadvantage to the stability of the cavern in the process of operation.The threshold of the air pressure on the operation of the underground gas storage cavern was found(4 MPa).The test shows that the system can simulate the geostress state of the rockmass effectively,can be controlled directly and can be applied in the deep large scale geomechanics model test generally.
