Wang Jinzhuang Li Yongshu Zhou Xiong Wu Lixin(Beijing Graduate School,China University of Mining and Technology)Wei Shenghai(Dongpang Mine, Xingtai Mine Bureau)  
Based on measured dataof Dongpang Mine, Xingtai, and with the aidof simulationtest of equivalent material, the rules of ground movement caused by mining under thick alluvium are described. The method for measuring the effect of mining is put forward. The problems of greater subsidence factor and the active period of surface movement are expounded. The mechanism of displacement and failure in the thick alluvium and the rock is revealed. The relation between the rockmass movement and the alluvium subsidence is brought to light. The conclusions obtained from theoretical study and practical application are very valuable.
