CONDITIONS FOR FORMATION OF A REVERSE SMOKE FLOW IN A HORIZONTAL TUNNEL

Theoritical analysis was made in order to find out rules of forming a reverse flow of smoke. The phenomenon of backward flow of smoke resulted from a mine fire in a horizontal tunnel was investigated. The conditional equation of a reverse flow was derived. And two dimensionless criteria were established.
