The crossability of seven species belonging to genus Epimedium native to Guizhou,China were studied in the aspect of seeding ratios of hybridization. Results showed the hybridizations of any combination among these seven species are all successful, and there are obvious differences among seeding ratios of combinations, for the highest is up to 92.94% and the lowest only 15.38%.Based on data of seeding ratios, seven species studied can be dividedinto two groups: Group one is only one species,E.myrianthum, with lower seeding ratios of hybridization(almost all under 30%);Group two involves the others, with higher seeding ratios of hybridization(almost all up 30%).Results of this study can contribute to further studies on breeding of this genus, and also offer some references in studies on the phylogenesis of this genus.
