The calculation method of wind turbine frozen reduction coefficient study based on measured data

The effect of frozen can last for more than two months in the Yunnan-Guizhou plateau,which considerably creates the wind turbine power losses.This paper established an analysis method of frozen reduction coefficient, including alignment of SCADA data and anemometer tower data in time series, data standardization, power curve fitting and the calculation of frozen reduction coefficient.A wind farm in Guizhou is selected as an example for analysis.The result gives the frozen reduction coefficient of the wind farm during 2012-06~2013-06, which provides evaluation basis for development of wind farm in cold climates.
