Simplified Calculation of Normal Water Depth in Six-arc Egg-shaped Cross-section Tunnel with No Pressure

TENG Kai (Qiqihar Municipal Water Authority,Qiqihar City of Heilongjiang Province,161006,China)  
Since six-arc egg-shaped cross section has complex form. The normal water depth can not be obtained through analytical method. The conventional method has heavy calculation workload and low efficiency due to segmented formula, and transcendental equation with very complex expression form. The standard remaining difference is adopted as objective function based on the optimization fitting theory. An approximate formula with general formula expression,simple and intuitive form,convenient practical application and calculation precision meeting the design requirement ( maximum error of 0. 887% ) is obtained through fitting calculation in the project application parameter scope. The formula has certain practical promotion significance.
