Recovery nursing of patients with total-laryngectomy

The psychological nursing performed to 13 cases receiving total laryngectomy in this study showed that their recovery owed much to psychological nursing by fortifying their confidence against the disease, strengthening the nursing of tracheostoma to prevent the external exercises, and focusing on directing their language exercises. The results showed all the patients got recovered successfully and their quality of life was improved significantly.
