Perioperative nursing of patients with laryngeal pharynx carcinoma

The author summarized the experience in nursing patients with laryngeal pharynx carcinoma undergoing larynx function-protecting surgery, arguing that preoperative mental care, adjustment of whole-body condition, postoperative nutritious support, sustain of balance of water, electrolure and acid-base, prevention of such complications like infections in cuts and pulmonary infection, prevention of bleeding in cuts, pharyngeal fistula can ensure the experctation of operation. Clinically, 19 patients were all recovered to their dieting and linguistic function due to close cooperation from doctors, nurses and the patients.
