The Relation Between Se Content in Lotu Soil and the Growth of Wheat Corn and Millet
Wang Guilan et al.(Northwestern Agricultural University)
A pot experiment with different amount of selenium in Lotu for the rotation of maize-wheat wheat and millet-millet -millet respectively was carried out from 1986 to 1988. The results showed that : 1. The Se content of soil at 6 ppm was the critical level to effect the maize growth, 22 ppm was the critical level to effect the yields of wheat and maize. 2.The Se content in soil and in the seeds of wheat, maize and millet presented the significantly positive correlation. 3 . When Se concentration in soil was similar, the Se accumulation in the seeds of wheat , millet and maize was reduced in the proper order.
