Several Paddy Soils Buffering Capacity to Heavy Metals in Tai Lake Area

Based on the samples of typical paddy soils (Huangnitu,Baitu and Wunitu) collected in Tai Lake area, soils buffering capacity to acid and alkali and to heavy metals were studied by experiments.Absorption and desorption property, buffering speed rate characteristics, and heavy_metal form distribution etc. were analyzed as well. The results showed that different soils have remarkable discrepancy in buffering capacity to heavy metals. Huangnitu with higher fertility and better leakage has the most powerful buffering capacity.
