ON THE DRY AND WET CONDITION OF CHINA

Lu Yurong Gao Guodong Li Huaijin
The time and space distributions of dry and wet condition of China are illustrated and discussed in this paper according to the moisture index which is defined as the ratio between precipitation (r) and evaporativity (Eo), and the water excess defined as the difference between precipitation (r) and evaporativity (Eo), And the values of evaporativity (Eo) are calculated from the radiation balance and heat balance relationship.
