Solitary Wave Solutions for (2+1)-Dimensional Dispersive Long Wave Equations

In order to seek for new solitary wave solutions, a simple equationis obtained by taking a transformation on (2+1)-dimensional dispersive long wave equations. Then, some methods are used to solve it and, by using the transformation again, some new solitary wave solutions for (2+1)-dimensional dispersive long wave equations are obtained. In addition, some new N-soliton solutions are found too by introducing some undetermined coefficients. The method can be used to simplify tanh-function method, hyperbolic function method, homogeneous balance method and extended tanh-function method and to solve other nonlinear partial differential equations.
