Screening of the Strains Producing Cellulase and Ligninolytic Enzyme by Degradation of Corn Straw

The strains which could produce cellulose and ligninolytic enzyme by degradation of corn straw were screened and the relative enzyme activity was measured. Ten stains were obtained and identified as Penicillium sp, Alternaria sp, Aspergillus fumigatus, Aspergillus sp, Pestalotiopsis sp, Tricherderma sp, Cephalsporium sp and Pleurotus sp. The analysis of their enzyme activity indicated that all 10 strains were in possession of CMC-enzyme, filter paper enzyme, cellular microlite enzyme, Mn-catalase and ligninolytic enzyme. Because the screened strains had comprehensive enzymes for degradation of corn straw, they were valuable for science research on biological degradation of corn straw.
