Studies on extraction and purification of laminarin by acid solubilization

A high efficient procedure was developed to extract laminarin by acid solubilization,and purify compounds from kelp in this paper.The results showed that the yield of laminarin was higher at 75 ℃ for 4 h.The total rate of crude laminarin was up to 35.10%.The content of laminarin was 96.60% in the purified product,which contented 23 polysaccharide components when analysed by thin layer chromatography,high performance liquid chromatography,Sephadex G.
