Virtual Instrument Technology in Engine Fault Diagnosis System

To realize the purposes of real-time monitoring of engine operating mode and fault diagnosis, a system of state monitoring and fault diagnosis of the engine was set up in which the technical state parameters of engine were collected real-time through a data acquisition board PCI-9113A, and then data processing and management were performed on the graphic programming language Lab VIEW. With the system the engine vibration signal acquisition and data processing, display, printing, storage and so on could also be achieved. On the basis of the system the monitoring of the other engine performance parameters and fault diagnosis would be actualized as long as adding some necessary sensors and the corresponding software modules.
