Parametric Modeling and Analysis of Screw Shaft of Biomass Feeder Based on Apdl

Screw shaft is the pivotal component of biomass feeder,it is an important factor to feeder to work normally that the strength of screw shaft meets the standard.So,three-dimensional stress analysis of the screw is needed.In this paper,the geometric parameters,the material properties,load and the boundary conditions of screw are defined by Ansys molding function in preprocessor along with the inner developed tools of Apdl and UIDL.By inputting parameters into the parameter file,and then read it through Ansys,parametric modeling,load application and solving of the screw shaft are obtained.The maximum stress value and its position are obtained.By theoretical analysis and strength check,the strength meet to the design requirements fully in the normal working conditions.This study can provide protection for feeder of biomass briquette machine to operate normally.
