EFFECTS OF SUPPLEMENTATION OF DIFFERENT PLANTS OIL ON THE RUMEN FERMENTATION IN LACTATING DAIRY COWS

Three heath Chinese Holstein Lactating Dairy Cows at the same age in the same stage of Lactation period and weighting 650±20 Kg with a permanent cannula in the rumen were used.3×3 Latin square design was selected to study the effect of supplementation of different plants oil on the number of protozoa,pH value,NH_3-Nconcertration in the rumen of lactating dairy cows.Melon oil,Linseed oil and Canola oil were supplemented to basic diet(the content of fat was 6.5%) respectively.the results showed there were significant differences(p0.05) among three treatments in protozoa numbers,rumen pH value and NH3-N concentration.
