A Report of Vestigation on the Vegetation and Flora in Ejinaqi

Zhu Zong-yuan(Science Committee of Wulanchabumeng) Wen Du-su(Institute of Animal Husbandry of Neimenggu)  
Ejinaqi is located in desert centre of Central Asia, its zonal vegetaion is extreme desert. Large regions are gravel gobi, naked lofty hills and moving dunes, only a little of the region is covered with oasis. After having vestigated the region, we found that its flora is composed of 42 families, 119 genera and 189 species. Among them, there are 1 new species: Astragalus centralgobi- ticus Z.Y. Zhu et Y.Z. Zhao; 3 new varities: Atriplex centralasiatica Iljin vat. microbracteata Z.Y. Zhu, Suaeda glauca Bunge vat. conferiflora Z.Y. Zhu, Inula caspica Beum var. govica H.C. Fu et D.S. Wen. There are also some taxa of new distribution records: 1 family, 6 genera and ten spices.
