Morphological Characteristics of Quercus mongolica from Different Sources

Based on the resource investigation and determination on Quercus mongolica from seven districts,the differences of morphological characteristics of Quercus mongolica from different districts have been studied. The results show there are obvious differences for Quercus mongolica from seven districts among tree age,tree height,DBH,crown width,leaf length,leaf width,petiole length,seed length and seed width. Among them,the tree age,tree height,DBH and crown width of Quercus mongolica from Jilin are the highest,the ones from Zhalaite Banner of Inner Mongolia are the lowest. The leaf length and width of Quercus mongolica from Linkou of Heilongjiang are the highest,the ones from Weichang of Hebei are the lowest. The seed length of Quercus mongolica from Linkou of Heilongjiang is the highest of 2. 10 cm,the one of Quercus mongolica from Weichang of Hebei is the lowest of 1. 59 cm. The seed width of Quercus mongolica from Dailing of Heilongjiang is the highest of 1. 78 cm,the one of Quercus mongolica from Weichang of Hebei is the lowest of 1. 29 cm.
