Practice of CO_2 flooding in low-permeability fault block reservoir

Caoshe oilfield is low-permeability fault block reservoir of Taizhou group.Through the research of CO2 flooding mechanism,evaluation of reservoir adaptability,physical simulation of flooding and numerical simulation,this paper optimized the parameters of CO2 miscible flooding in Caoshe oilfield of Taizhou group in north Jiangsu basin,and achieved remarkable effects of production increase.To the end of 2011,the CO2 injected has amounted to 7380×104m3,daily oil production has increased from 48t to 85t,composite water content has droped from 56.4% to 33.7%,total yield has increased by 5.6×104t,recovery ratio has increased by 16.8 percentage points compared to that by water flooding.The successful practice of CO2 flooding will provide valuable reference for other similar reservoirs in EOR technology.
