Starting up Construction Technology with Shield Machine in the Yellow River Crossing Tunnel of the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion

Starting up construction technology with shield machine in the Yellow River Crossing Tunnel of the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion was difficult because location was with great depth, poor geological conditions, high groundwater level, limited starting up space and risk in spraying sand and water. We developed strict and reasonable working processes and did high pressure concrete spraying as well as freezing consolidation on the important starting up area, at last we successfully realized safe starting up.
