Application of image processing technics to velocity field measurement in physical model

This paper describes the application of image processing technics to the velocity field measurement in physical model. When the model experiments are under operation, some particles are put on the water flow surface and the particle streaks are recorded. The surface velocity field can be obtained by the image processing technics.
