Calculation of ventilating rate and analyses of field measurement for underground garages of civil buildings

Analyses and compares four formulas for calculating ventilating rate in underground garages of civil buildings. Finds that some calculating results are quite diveraged.Based on chemical burning theory, establishes a novel formula to calculate the ventilating rate. Measures CO concentration in two underground garages for five days. Suggests that concentration diluting method should be used to calculate the ventilation rate.
