Studies of magnetic chitosan microsphere immobilized pectinase

BI Shuxian,ZHANG Xiaoliang (College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Ningxia University, Yinchuan Ningxia 750021,China)  
In this experiment,chitosan microspheres were prepared by in-situ precipitation method and then the pectinase was immobilized onto a new type of magnetic chitosan microspheres(M-CS) support from layer by layer approach. Various characteristics of immobilized pectinase such as the pH stability and thermal stability were valuated. Among them the pH optimum and temperature optimum of immobilized pectinase were found to be pH 3.5 and 50 ℃.
