QTL Mapping and Interaction Analysis for the Important Agronomic Traits of Shanyou 63 Recombinant Inbred Lines in Rice

Some important agronomic traits including plant height, heading date, yield of plant and yield components were investigated by using a set of 241 RIL population derived from an elite hybrid rice (Oryza sativa L. spp. indica ) Shanyou 63. Quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and interactions of these traits were analyzed. The results showed that the tremendous transgressive segregation for all traits was observed in the population and the frequency of these traits was approximately normal distributioa A total of 45 QTLs and 47 pairs of interaction were detected for these traits. The contribution rates of single QTL were 2.83%-28.46%. The C1023-R1440 in chromosome 7 was the most active flanking marker and held the pleiotropism, which was checked simultaneously the same QTL in 5 traits and the 3 pairs of significant epistatic loci in 3 traits. Which would be helpful for the heterosis and the genetic research of rice such as marker-assisted selection.
