A simply and rapid method was established for determining acetamiprid residues in pear. Sample were extracted, cleaned up and subjected to gas chromatography with ECD detection, minimum detectable level in standard samples was 1.0×10-12 g. The lowest detectable concentration in pear samples was 0.001 mg/kg, sample recoveries ranged from 82.1 to 99.7%, the coefficients of variation from 2.5 to 4.1%.
