Preparation and Characterization of Rimsulfuron Molecularly Imprinted Monodisperse Polymer Microspheres

[Methods] A molecularly imprinted polymer was prepared by precipitation polymerization using rimsulfuron(Rim) as template molecule.[Results] The optimized ratio of rimsulfuron and MAA was 1∶4 by analysis of UV.FTIR of the polymer indicated that there were same chemical construction in the MIPs and NIPs.Monodisperse polymer microspheres were formed by specific ratio of rimsulfuron and MAA by the analysis of size contrast between MIPs and NIPs,the particle diameter of MIPs was 0.1-1.2 μm.The template polymer adsorption capacity and selectivity of MIPs were investigated by equilibrium binding experiment,the maximum apparently adsorption amount of MIPs to rimsulfuron was 5 085 mg/kg.[Conclusions] The results showed that compared with NIPs,MIPs of rimsulfuron showed strong absorption features and good specificity to sulfonylurea.
