The influence of mobile social media on the mental health of graduate students rejected by tutors

In order to examine the influence of tutor's rejection on postgraduate mental health and the role of mobile social media, the study combined experimental methods and questionnaires to test this effect. The results showed that:(1) the recall method could effectively activate the graduate' tutor rejection experience,and the tutor rejection perception group was significantly more aggressive than the instructor acceptance group.(2) After the tutor rejection experience was stimulated, the post-tested aggression level of the social group was significantly lower than pre-tested, the post-tested aggression and depression scores of the social group were significantly lower than the controls, while the post-tested depression in the control group was significantly higher than that in the pre-tested, indicating that the use of mobile social media is an important mediating variable for the tutor rejection perception to influence the mental health of graduate students.
