Research on Sulfate Attack on Concrete

In carrying out laboratory dry and wet cyclic accelerating sulfate erosion of concrete,tests are made to check the compressive strength of samples of eroded concrete and the bonding capability of reinforcing bar and concrete.The results of experiments show that,the combined effect of SO42-and Mg2+ has accelerated the erosion of concrete.What's more,the brittleness of the attacked concrete by sulfate has increased,while the ductility of concrete and the bonding capability of reinforcing bar have decreased.
