Analysis of the Balance of Soil Organic Carbon of the Cotton Field in the Manas River Valley

Through the analysis of the dynamic change of soil organic carbon through a long-term fixed monitering,this paper sets forth the balance status of the soil organic carbon of the cotton fields in the Manas river valley.The soil organic carbon of the cotton fields descended before 1990′s because of the simplistic fertilization method.With the constant expansion of the area of stalks returning to the fields after mid 90′s,the soil organic carbon of the cotton fields has become abundant.Therefore,the rate of stalks refurning to the fields deceides the content of organic carbons.
